MemBox ("the App") is a soundboard application developed by Sakovkid. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
The App does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personal information. Specifically:
The App uses an internet connection to load the sound catalog, category images, and sound files from the MemBox backend. Standard technical information, such as your IP address and request time, may be processed by the server or hosting provider as part of normal server operation, security, and troubleshooting.
When you play a sound, the App may send a playback event to the MemBox backend containing the sound identifier. This is used to maintain aggregate popularity counters for sounds. The App does not send your name, contact information, device contacts, location, or account identifier with this event.
The App stores some information locally on your device to provide core features, including favorite sounds, recently played sounds, local playback counts, cached catalog data, and downloaded or cached sound files. This information is stored on your device and is used to make the App faster and available when network access is limited.
If you choose to save or share a sound, the App uses Android system features to save the file or open the standard sharing sheet. You decide which app or service receives the shared sound. Any information shared through another app is handled according to that app's own privacy policy.
The App may rely on platform services and hosting infrastructure to deliver the sound catalog and files. These services may process standard technical data needed to provide network requests, security, and reliability. The App does not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking services.
Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App. Aggregate playback counters stored on the backend are not linked to an App account because the App does not create user accounts.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Some sounds may be intended for entertainment and may not be suitable for all ages; parental guidance is recommended where appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
